Good to know
What time is check-in and check-out?+
Check-in is between 2.30pm and 8pm, and check-out is by 10am. If you need to arrive outside those hours, get in touch before you travel and we'll do our best to help.
Is parking available?+
Yes — on-site parking is available, with room for vans and work vehicles.
What's the Wi-Fi and TV setup?+
Wi-Fi throughout the building, and every smart TV comes with Netflix, Amazon Prime, DAZN and Sky via NOW — so you can catch all the live football, Premier League and Scottish Premiership included, plus films and box sets.
Are the rooms en-suite?+
Rooms have a washbasin; the bathrooms and kitchen are shared. Self-contained units have their own shared kitchen, living area and bathrooms.
Do you take group and contractor bookings?+
Absolutely — self-contained units suit crews and families, with weekly rates and company invoicing. See our contractor page or get in touch.
Is it a sociable place to stay?+
Very — that's the point. Private bedrooms sit alongside shared kitchens and living spaces, so you can cook, eat and unwind with fellow guests, or close your door when you'd rather not. Great for solo travellers and crews alike.
How far is the cruise terminal and the station?+
The Greenock Ocean cruise terminal is about a 5-minute walk and Greenock Central station around 6 minutes, with direct trains to Glasgow in roughly 35 minutes.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in for a full refund; within 48 hours of check-in, bookings are non-refundable. Full details are in our Terms.
Is this a hotel or a short-term let?+
Ocean Quay is waterfront rooms and apartments on Greenock’s waterfront — private rooms and full self-contained apartments. For planning and licensing it is hostel accommodation under Class 7, not a short-term holiday let.
